Joachim Christian Andersen (born 31 May 1996) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a center-back for Premier League side Crystal Palace and the Denmark national team.

Joachim Anderson is a well-known footballer who started playing for a local team Greve Fodbold at the age of four and played for them for nine years.
He kept playing after enrolling in school, when he encountered players such as Viktor Fischer, Simon Kjaer, Erik Sviatchenko, Pione Sisto, and Winston Reid.
He also signed with Midtjylland. Before making his debut with the squad, scouts were sent out to examine him and give him a one-week trial.
